We've got some updates on Cherokee's 2020 fishing season to share including a report on the stocking schedule from Tribal Hatchery Supervisor Doug Reed and the latest information on safety guidelines and trout tournaments. 

The Cherokee Voices Festival is cancelled this year, but visitors will have the chance to meet the artists and performers one-on-one at the Museum of the Cherokee Museum from June 29 to mid-August, including Cherokee artists practicing gourd art, copperwork, woodcarving, basketry, pottery, beadwork, and more! See the lineup. 

We’re excited to announce that the Oconaluftee Indian Village, in Cherokee, North Carolina, is open for the 2020 season! We’re taking steps and protocols to ensure your safety. By visiting the Village, you have a chance to experience Cherokee’s rich and resilient culture. Modeled after a Cherokee Indian village from the 16th to 18th centuries, the Village is an immersive living history experience that transports you back in time.
