A Living Language: Cherokee Syllabary and Contemporary Art is a new art exhibit at the Museum of the Cherokee Indian, featuring over 50 works in a variety of media by 30+ Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) and Cherokee Nation artists. Catch it at the Cherokee museum until October 31, 2021. 

Learn about The Gourd Gathering at Cherokee, happening July 28 through August 1st, 2021 at the Cherokee Indian Fair Grounds. It is free to come see the gourd art and crafts that will be on display and to shop for gourds and gourd crafting supplies from the vendors. A variety of paid classes led by expert crafters will be available for gourd artists of all skill levels.

The annual Cherokee Powwow is the biggest in the southeast, and you’ll have the chance of a lifetime to see some of the most talented Native American dancers, drummers, and singers perform.
